Alex received Master of Arts from the Academy of Music in Latvia, and for many years worked as a teacher and musical director at the LA High School of Performing Arts and Cal State University of Los Angeles.

He studied with many great European and American teachers, which helped him to develop a truly progressive and effective teaching method that can be applied to all musical styles, levels and ages. 



Prof. Varden has taught hundreds of talented, aspiring artists who have gone on to succesful careers in the entertainment industry, including two Star Search winners, Miss Universe, professional singers, pianists, actors and songwriters.
